Jesus’ death and disappearance of his body aren’t a cold case to be solved by detectives, excavators, or DNA testing. Believers around the world are witnesses of His life, passion, and resurrection. Just as He told Nicodemus before his crucifixion, He tells sinners and scoffers today, He is God’s only begotten son who died and rose again to save us from our sins.

This is the hope and salvation we have in Christ Jesus.

I, too, am a witness of Him. And how can anyone say that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior but by His Holy Spirit?.

The story that climaxed on Easter morning is the miraculous salvation of love. It’s the most incredible love story ever to be told that began with Christ’s birth.

The miracle of salvation is all about Christ’s passion and love for you and me. His love endured the pain and punishment for our sins, even unto death.

He died so that we might live.

Actors must relent and confess that such passion is impossible to replicate and portray on the big screen with makeup and trick photography. Christ’s passion was more than a visual sacrifice against the backdrop of those who yelled, “Crucify Him.”

Hebrew 9:11 (KJV) says, But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building.” Conceived by the Holy Spirit, Christ was no ordinary man, and His death was no ordinary death. And because He is risen, death isn’t our end. We will live again also.

We look to the empty tomb, not to the open wounds. Christ is risen!

We don’t have to obsess about the whippings, beatings, and spewing of His blood because it was poured out for the remission of our sin. Christ willingly gave his life for us; no one took it.

People die thousands of deaths, but only one saves by His death because He was guiltless and without sin. He is Christ, God’s only son.

His passion is not only in the shedding of blood but in a life of love. Christ suffered and died by the hands and hearts of those He also offered redemption. He told His Father God to forgive them, for they knew not what they did.

Jesus Christ finished his mission, defeated death, and rose again with all power in His hand. And today, like every day, His arms are outstretched to receive those who would believe in Him. His comforter and guide, the Holy Spirit is our leader and guide.

Romans 10:9 (KJV) says, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Happy Resurrection Sunday! Have a Happy Easter!

Be safe.
