Who will you be after the 2024 presidential election?
Of course, it will take days, if not longer, to count all the votes. Processing and counting mail-in and absentee ballots will take time and can involve voter fraud accusations. God forbid it takes weeks or even a month to declare the 47th president of the United States.
Who will you be during the time lag and drag due to fraud accusations, election contests, and litigations in the various states?
Some people don’t know who they will be.
Yes, who some people will be depends on the presidential candidate or party that wins or loses.
Some of these people have devised plans to sow discord, confusion, and racial division.
Some people will be furious, and others will be happy. Some people will protest, others will accept the election results. Some may become violent, while others will refrain from and condemn violence.
What will America be like after the 2024 presidential election?
Will the White House continue to be the People’s House, the symbol of the American people? The White is the president’s temporary residence; it doesn’t belong to the president or any one person.
In the 1800s, people called the White House the President’s House or The Executive Mansion, and it was the president’s private residence as it is today.
The people or public have a right and privilege to enter this private residence, which is not the case for other heads of state’s private residences. And there’s no charge.
Who will I be after November 5, 2024?
After I blacken my voice inside the oval(s) to cast my vote and the presidential winner is declared days or weeks later, my hope and prayer for America to become a better union for all citizens will remain.
I will be a law-abiding citizen who will continue to pray for America, its leadership, and those who are marginalized.
Sure, I want my candidate to win!
Regardless of who sits behind the resolute desk, I will not give up on America and democracy.
It is not the end of the world if my candidate doesn’t win the presidential election. God will not neglect or relinquish His care and promises to those who trust Him.
We’re changing the American presidential guard, not the guardian of America and the world.
As I stated in last week’s blog post, Thomas Jefferson said, “The government you elect is the government you deserve.”
I say the government we (the people) elect is the government we (the people) get!
I don’t want anyone to vote or speak for me, so I plan to vote and speak for the government I want.
There are more than 161 million registered voters in the U.S., and I am one of them.
Former President Obama said, “You wouldn’t let your grandparents pick your playlist. Why would you let them pick your representative who’s going to determine your future.”
Former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln said, “The ballot is stronger than the bullet.”
Peggy Noonan, an American writer, said, “Our political leaders will know our priorities only if we tell them, again and again, and if those priorities begin to show up in the polls.”
Former President Lyndon Johnson said, “A man without a vote is a man without protection.”
A vote for America is a vote for democracy.
Let’s progress together!
Vote November 5, 2024!
Be happy and well!
