Okay, I’m from Greensboro, a small town in south Alabama. Some say Alabama is ‘way down South’ in Dixie.
Does this mean that I’m a country girl?
Country folks love God, neighbor, and country. They’re some of the most friendly, caring, and helpful folks walking this good earth.
What does country look and feel like?
How country I am depends on the time of day, company or lack of it, and mood.
I’ve heard people say, “I barbeque in the backyard. I’m not that country!” I don’t barbeque on the front lawn or porch, either.
But I know all of the songs on Martina McBride’s Evolution album, when generally, I don’t like country music.
Can you be a little bit country? I guess some Alabamians are more country than others.
